Delete your account

You can delete your Puzzle IT account in the app or request deletion by email. This applies to registered accounts and guest profiles.

In the app

1. Open Puzzle IT with the account or guest profile you want to delete.
2. Open Profile, then its menu to open Settings.
3. Expand Account and choose Delete Account.
4. Read the confirmation and choose Delete Forever.

If an older email-based account needs a fresh sign-in, restore that account with its email and retry. Keep guest and display-name profiles on the same device until deletion completes.

Request deletion outside the app

Email sgrid.caps@gmail.com with the subject Puzzle IT account deletion. State that you want your account and associated data deleted, and provide your account ID/friend code if known. For an older email-based account, include its registered email and send from that address where possible.

We may ask you to verify ownership before processing the request. Do not send passwords or photos. If you have lost access to a guest or display-name profile, include the identifying information you still have; identifying and verifying that profile may be limited. A display name alone does not prove account ownership.

What happens to your data

Deletion removes your sign-in account, profile and associated app data, including friends, puzzle progress, tokens and unlocked-content records. Account and media cleanup remove associated puzzle data and service copies of your photos.

Reports, safety decisions, audit records and related identifiers or image hashes may remain when necessary for abuse prevention, incident response or legal obligations. Google service providers have their own retention and deletion processes. Photos or puzzle copies saved by recipients outside the service cannot be recalled.
